Video about Bishop John Sullivan
We named our Center after Bishop John Sullivan, who was the bishop of the Kansas City-St. Joseph diocese from 1977 until 1993. Bishop Sullivan, never one to put on airs, was always concerned about the poor. In this video you can see how his spirit still wanders around the Center. For those who knew him, you'll see your old friend again. For those who never knew him, you will see why we named our Center after him.
Our mission is to provide basic necessities to people who are unable to do so, and to assist those who are able, to become self-sufficient by finding employment.
