Hit-It-A-Ton

Billy Butler and his wife, Katie, are committed to help feed the hungry in Kansas City. And they invite YOU to join them in this cause.

Two years ago they started "Hit-It-A-Ton" as a way to raise money for our two food pantries.  It costs us about $250 to obtain a ton of food and distribute it; $125 for half a ton.

In addition to volunteering at these food pantries, the Butlers will personally donate a ton of food for every home run that Billy hits this year (last year he hit 21 home runs).

Most importantly, you can get involved, too. Making a donation to Hit-It-A-Ton earns you a baseball or bat autographed by Billy and an invitation to a "members only" picnic with Billy and Katie on Saturday morning, August 14, at the O'Hara High School soccer field, as well as tickets to the Royal's game on August 18th.  A limited number of additional tickets may be available to donors for the picnic for a nominal fee.

Also, check out Billy’s Locker for an inside look at Billy’s actual locker at Kauffman Stadium. Billy’s Locker contains special baseball memorabilia items available for purchase with a donation to Hit-It-A-Ton and all kinds of other fun stuff.

Corporate Sponsors: Straub Construction, Sioux Chief, Firehouse Subs, Price Chopper.
