During the 2008 Royals season, each time Billy Butler of the KC Royals hits a home run, Straub Construction will donate a ton of food to Bishop Sullivan Center and St. James Place. In addition, Billy will match the donation with another ton of food to feed the hungry in Kansas City.
1 ton of food is 2,000 pounds, and will feed 50 needy families. The cost of a ton of food is $320.00 from Harvesters.
