Adopt-A-Family
Thank you for your interest in adopting a family for Christmas with Bishop Sullivan Center. Each year, we try to match more than 200 families requiring a little extra holiday cheer. We screen each family to determine their level of need and to ensure that they are not receiving aid from any other agency. This is what we ask you to provide for your adoptive family:
At least 2 gifts for each member of the family. We will send you a form showing each person's name, sizes, ethnicity and small gift wish. We try to keep the wish of each person under $25. You can spend any amount you want and you do not have to limit the gifts to just 2 per person.
Please wrap each gift and put the recipient's name on the gift.
Put all the wrapped gifts in large plastic bags or boxes and mark the outside of the containers with the Family Code Number that will be on the form we send you by mail.
Bring your gifts to the location designated in our mailing on the date specified. We will handle delivery.
You may include a gift certificate for food. Most of our clients shop at Cosentino's Price Chopper. When purchasing the card, ask them to put on it that it is for "food only." This makes a great family gift and allows the family the ability to pick out the kind of food they like for the holiday.
