Murray Davis Scholarship
Murray Davis was passionate about serving those in need. When Bishop Sullivan Center (BSC) was established as a 501(c)(3), Murray shared not only his business acumen but also championed serving the community.

2026 Murray Davis Scholarship
The Murray Davis legacy lives on through the annual $2,500 scholarship awarded to three high school seniors who will attend an accredited four-year college or university, trade school, or community college. The scholarship will be granted to students with academic strength and a commitment to serving the community.
“My father loved young people,” said Davis’s son, also named Murray. “To contribute to the continued growth of those who choose to give without expecting anything in return would excite him tremendously. He’ll be there in spirit to see those who are recognized.”
Requirements & Information
Applicant Requirements:
- Possess a 3.00 GPA or above on a 4.0 (non-weighted) scale.
- Enrolled currently as a High School Senior.
- Be enrolled or plan to enroll a full-time student in the upcoming year at an accredited four-year college or university, trade school, or community college.
- In applying for this scholarship, the applicant agrees to utilize the funds within ONE YEAR from the award date.
Please Note: Bishop Sullivan Center staff, board members, and immediate family members are not eligible to apply.
Scholarship Information:
- Scholarship Amount: $2500
- Number of Scholarships Awarded For 2026: 3
- Application Deadline: November 1, 2025
- Award Date: March 1, 2026 (forfeiture date is March 1, 2027)
