Get InvolvedServe. Learn. Earn.
Serve. Learn. Earn. is a unique program for college students to engage in service and conversation about social ethics, poverty, and social responsibility.
For one evening per week for seven consecutive weeks, students serve dinner at One City Café, a community kitchen operated by Bishop Sullivan Center.
One City Café welcomes all in our community for a healthy, hearty dinner. One City Café seeks to unify our city, one meal at a time.
Students will watch or read assigned materials about social ethics, poverty, and social responsibility.
Students will engage in discussion about the material and their experiences.
Throughout the session, students will write several reflection papers.
For participating, students will receive a stipend of up to $500. The amount received is dependent on student’s level of participation and attendance.
Students may apply to participate in one seven-week session. Each session can accommodate up to 10 students.
Applications for the fall 2019 session of Serve. Learn. Earn. are now closed. If you applied, please check your email for updates.
